Cultivation:
Within the "Cockscomb" family there are two types of
flowers... crested or plumed. 'Gloria Mix' is of the plumed type
available in shades of red, orange and yellows. Both flower types
are very colorful and excellent as cut or dried flowers.
Plant in full sun in well drained soil either in containers or
beds in a sheltered location. Tolerates heat quite well. Celosia is quite sensitive to cold... so don't plant them
outdoors until your sure that danger of frost has passed. 'Gloria
Mix' will flower from late spring until first frost.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Root rot if kept to wet.
