Cultivation: Within the "Cockscomb" family there are two types of flowers... crested or plumed. 'Amigo mix' is of the crested type available in shades of red, orange and yellow. Both types are very colorful and excellent as cut or dried flowers.

Plant in full sun in well drained soil either in containers or beds in a sheltered location. Coxcomb tolerates heat quite well. Celosia is quite sensitive to cold... so don't plant them outdoors until your sure that danger of frost has passed. 'Amigo Mix' will flower from late spring until first frost.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Root rot if kept to wet.
