Cultivation: Pentas lancolata 'Butterfly Light Lavender prefers to be planted in full sun... but will tolerate some light shade. Plant in fertile well drained soil in either beds or  containers. When grown in beds space plants 18" to 20" apart. 

Pentas must be kept moist while actively growing. All varieties of Pentas are native to tropical areas and are quite sensitive to cold. Plant in beds or containers well after all danger of frost has passed.

The blossoms of "Butterfly Bush" make an excellent cut flower.
