Cultivation: New for 2003! Bracteantha also known as "Strawflowers" are awesome plants. Their live flowers feel just like dried straw. 

Plant Strawflower in full sun in fertile, well drained soil. Space Plants 10" - 12" apart. "Strawflowers" are quite heat tolerant. Their flowers are excellent for cutting and drying, as well as attracting Butterflies. Hardy down to 30 degrees.

Potential pests ~ diseases: Downy mildew.
