Cultivation: Introduced in 1999... Ageratum 'Hawaii Shell Pink' is a  compact Ageratum that flowers 1 to 2 weeks before other varieties. Ageratum Shell Pink has a very uniform growth habit making it an excellent choice for containers or borders. 

Ageratum prefers to be planted in full sun... but will tolerate some light shade. Plant in fertile well drained soil in either beds or  containers. When grown in beds space plants 6" to 10" apart. Most varieties of Ageratum attract Butterflies.

Available colors: Blue Hawaii, Hawaii Mix, Shell Pink, Royal Hawaii, and White Hawaii.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Mildews caused by overly dry conditions.
